Mama's Taco bell Spaghetti

Want a great taco bell tastin spahghetti dinner, try mine

TACO BELL SPAGHETTI

1-lbs ground beef
1-lb spaghetti
1-pkg Taco Bell Seasoning
2- tbs. dehydrated onions
1-tbs parsley
1-tbs. cumin
1-beef boullion cubes
1-chicken bouillion cube
1 grated carrot
1-cut in cube tomato or 1 can of chilli tomatoes
1/4 c. ketchup
1-8.oz can tomato sauce
1c. warm water.

In a pot boil spaghetti,  in a skillet, brown ground beef, drain off excess oil, add,onions,bouillion cubes, cubed tomatoes, carrots,cumin, and parsley stir add water,tomatoe sauce taco bell seasoning, and ketchup,simmer for 10 min
add to spaghetti stir simmer for 5 more minutes. add salt to season to taste if needed.  Bon' Appetite
   

Gran-Da-Dee's Pear Pie

This is about the best pear pie recipe I've ever ate. It was given to me by my dad Charles Dee before he passed away it is a tradition in our family every Thanksgiving

Gran-Da-Dee's Pear Pie

1-16 oz. can Pears or 3 whole pears blanched fo 5 mins
1/2 c. sugar to can of pears or 3/4 c. to whole pears
Cinnamon
vanilla flavor 1-oz imitation 0r 3 tbs. pure
1/2 stick butter
2-pie crust
6 soften butter pats
1/8 cup of sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbs corn starch mixed with 1/4 c. water to thicken

In a pot, add Pears vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon 1 oz of vanilla . this is the key to the  taste he would pour a whole small bottle of imatation vanilla in the pot, add butter, boil for 5 min, In a cup measure cornstarch with 1/4 c. water, stir. Pour in pot and boil till thickens about the consistency of applesauce pour in a 9" pie crust , top with the other pie crust , smooth butter pats over top crust,
sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar place in 350 degree oven for 35-45 mins or untill crust is browned ,Let stand for 20 min.
ummm. delicious!  Your tongue will just cry, for Gran-da-dee's Pear Pie!!!!

I was raised in the South, where good eating is always a must. Greens,beans, cornbread and fried chicken, ummm, ummff. talkin' about some good eating! Although the fried chicken may not be so healthy for you it still was good! I'll be sharing some of my good southern home cooking with you try it at your own risk. Enjoy!  

Recipe for the day

Mama's Saucy Wings

2-lbs. Chicken wings (cutin half)
1/2 c.Louisiana Hot Sauce.
salt
1/4 c. parsley
onion salt
garlic
hot cooking oil
2 c.self-rising flour I prefer Sunflower Self- Rising Flour

In a large bowl add chicken pieces, hot sauce. Sprinkle parsley salt,onion powder, garlic lightly on each peice. Let it marinate for 20-30 min. Place flour in a plastic bag . heat oil to 375 degrees.
put wings in bags, shake dust off excess flour place in deep fryer,or pot  cook until brown and crispy about 20 min make sure temperature never lowers. drain when done on paper towels repeat until all chicken is fried. good eating! ( Remember the hotter the oil," THE LESSER THE TOIL"
